GMP DIELECTRIC SPLICER’S UMBRELLA

GMP Umbrellas provide fast shelter from the sun whether you’re working aloft or on the ground. The Dielectric Umbrella (70352) also provides a dielectric rating of 40kV for added protection when working near electricity.

• Both units have a tough plastic 68″ diameter cover that is safety yellow on the top & reflective white underneath to dramatically cut down on interior heat.
• Vinyl-coated, nylon rib-end pockets keep the frame from tearing the cover. Stitched throughout with self-sealing waterproof, waxed thread.
• Fiberglass ribs connect at a ring-type lock. It slides along the pole as you open or close the umbrella. To lock the ring, just slide it over the set pin in the pole & rotate it.
• The standard umbrella uses a 43″ varnished wooden upper pole with a ferrule connector that mates with the 29″ extension pole for a full height of 6′. The Dielectric Umbrella uses tough fiberglass poles and other non-conductive parts.
