The FOT Video Microscope is a natural choice for fast-paced production environments,
where ease of use and fast, accurate inspections are a necessity. The microscope
offers a high-resolution look at the end face of most standard connectors, through a
choice of either 200X or 400X magnifications. The sleek design rests securely on
a workbench, while the included 4’ video cable provides flexibility to place the 5.5” LCD
monitor (also included) wherever it is convenient. The optics and internal components
are designed to be rugged and reliable, with no user-serviceable parts. This ensures
that the FOT Video Microscope will offer years of trouble-free service.

The Optelian CI-1000 Connector Inspector is used by technicians to
view a magnified image of the fiber core inside fiber optic
connectors and adapters for detection of dirt or defects causing
optical signal loss.
The CI-1000 offers excellent magnification and has a Liquid Crystal
Display (LCD) for easy viewing. The unit is light-weight and has a
rechargeable battery and durable carrying case for portability.
The kit includes the most commonly used SC, FC, LC, and MU male
and female connector tips.
The premium kit includes additional ST, right-angled, extension, and
MTP tips. Other tips may be ordered separately.
